Sebastian joined the Jakob lab in September 08. He is currently studying medical biology at the University Duisburg-Essen (Germany). For his Bachelor thesis he worked on the role of chondrozyte-differentiation in the developing bone at the Department of Developmental Biology at the University Duisburg-Essen.

In his spare time Sebastian loves to go snowboarding, traveling abroad, partying and watching the Michigan Wolverines. He is also interested in any kind of "extreme-sport".
