Daniel Smith

Dan is a graduate student in the department of Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. Dan is using the Keio collection of knockout mutants in E. coli to map the genetic pathways contributing to curli regulation and production. Dan is also developing methods to examine attachment of curliated cells to various engineered surfaces.
